Accountant
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly financial closing processes, Income Tax and Sales Tax reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations and be a real partner of operational teams
- Monthly reconciliation of account balances and bank statements.
- Cash flow management (forecasting, controlling and allocating)
- Maintain general ledger and prepare month-end entries.
- Control, allocate and reconcile accounts payables and receivables.
- Maintain payment schedule (payments to suppliers)
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding payment terms and other issues.
- Maintain fixed asset register. Control depreciation account.
- Prepayment account monthly reconciliation.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closure process.
- Liaise with Finance Manager to improve financial procedures.
- Liaise with Tax Consultant
- Prepare and submit Tax returns (Monthly, Quarterly and Annual)
- Liaise with external auditors to finalize annual financial audit
- Support to prepare annual audit schedules for group companies
- Close coordination with other support function teams for concern matters
- Liaise with other departments related to finance queries
- Any other tasks assign by line manager
Qualification & Experience:
- 2 – 3 years’ of professional accounting experience
- Part Qualified Accountant (ICAP, ICMAP, PIPFA, ACCA) with MBA as a plus point
