Position Overview:

CureMD Learning and Development team is seeking a passionate and resourceful director to lead a progressive team of individuals across all areas of our L&D organization. You and your team will work with business partners to identify training needs and build or acquire instructor-led, e-learning, and virtual trainings by utilizing innovative technologies and world class educational organizations .

This leadership role will develop and execute a strategic plan to support the growth and success of a variety of learning programs including technical and soft skills among other human development programs. Our director L&D will collaborate with the organization’s leaders, subject matter experts, team mentors and career consulars to build human capability as well as capacity across our globally distributed organization.

This individual is a world class expert in key areas of a progressive L&D practice, in particular utilizing a competency-based approach to skill development. (e.g. must demonstrate expertise in areas like; learning strategy, need assessment program, curriculum development, instructional design, evaluation, bringing specific learning gaps, e-learning, competency assessment, etc.)

The successful candidate is a true leader with an obsession for human development and strong business acumen, a profound sense of ownership with a frugal can do attitude, a critical thinker with intimate knowledge of learning resources and a pragmatic approach to implementing major initiatives. The individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have proven experience building and leading teams, and have successfully designed and delivered professional-grade training at a large multinational organization.

The incumbent will also be a specialist in developing and running training bootcamps, using leading learning management systems with a proven capability to scale our L&D organization. As a Director of the Learning & Development team, you will be a great problem solver and cross-functional collaborator between teams with varied specializations, inspirations and interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop L&D strategy, implementation, and operational plan by successfully incorporating learning solutions, technologies, and platforms including digital, hybrid, and micro-learning programs.
  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online).
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and learning conferences.
  • Conduct assessments to gauge and tweak training programs to ensure the highest ROI.
  • Design, develop, implement and monitor the selection process of the learners.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the entire L&D program; from needs assessment, learning methodologies development, curriculum design, content development, administration, and measuring results.
  • Cultivate partnerships with MoIT, [email protected], top-tier Universities, and private organizations to expand the outreach and impact of the program.
  • Develop a solid career development and internal placement program for freshers, juniors as well as mid and senior managers.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to create awareness by advertising across multiple mediums including video, print, and social media marketing.
  • Developing and executing market research strategies to help identify new opportunities and support the program development process.
  • Provide analytics and reporting on program performance.

Education and Experience:

  • BS/MS in business, psychology, education or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in leading, designing, and implementing L&D strategies and programs.
  • Must have prior proven experience in project management methodologies, especially Agile.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and decision-makers across a globally distributed team from different cultures, behaviors and personalities.
  • Experience in leveraging data to measure program effectiveness
