About the job

A US-based company dedicated to breaking through geographical limitations and reshaping the work culture across the globe is looking for a Back-end Engineer. The developer will be joining a small team of existing engineers and will play a significant role in choosing and designing the team responsibilities. The firm is revolutionizing the AI industry with its state-of-the-art 3D Design and AR/VR technology. The company has managed to raise more than $20 mn during the Series A round. This will be a full-time role and requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on planning, designing, and optimizing some really cool VR and AR apps
• Work closely with the team to write automation tests, understand requirements, build solutions, deliver functionality, and build continuous delivery pipelines
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
• Effectively collaborate with product teams and engineering professionals to meet product requirements and build innovative solutions

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Back-end engineer
• Prior experience writing back-end services
• Prolific experience working with DevOps, AWS, or similar technologies
• Strong database experience
• Nice to have some experience dealing with security certifications like SOC2
• Relevant MongoDB experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
